* VERY IMPORTANT*
After Appalachian Highway, you will bear RIGHT and at the stop sign you will make a RIGHT onto Old 76/US 76. After approx. ¼ mile make a LEFT onto Burgess Gap Road (wooden bear holding a sign for 5 star lodge). You will pass a horse farm on right, basketball court on left (keep going). It will turn into a gravel road- open field on right & left (keep going). The hill will start going downward (keep going). On left there is a little white sign on a tree that says “Just a little bit longer.” In 1/8th of a mile you will BEAR LEFT (sign on the right that says “5 star lodge and stables”). As it gets narrow and STAY TO YOUR LEFT (you will see another sign). Pass farm with wooden fence on your right, continue to BEAR LEFT. The road is bumpy and narrow- take it to the top and you will see the lodge on the LEFT and just follow the attendant to tell you where to park.
