We have everything and then some for our home! To us your presence at our wedding is a gift in itself. If you would like to give us a wedding gift, any contributions towards our honeymoon and future together are greatly appreciated.
All meals (Friday: BBQ Dinner; Saturday: breakfast/lunch/cocktail reception and dinner; and Sunday fare-well brunch) will be served buffet style with plenty of options to choose from (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free). If you have a strict dietary requirement or allergy please let us know when you RSVP so we can accommodate appropriately.
Nothing! Accommodations are covered if you choose to stay at camp. This includes all meals and accommodations for 2 nights and almost three days, a ton of drinks and celebrations with US!
The simple answer is likely no. While there is MORE than enough room for everyone at camp, the accommodations are shared. Camp Kintail is fitted with 2 lodges, camper style cabins, and yurts. The lodges are fitted dorm style with shared washrooms (sinks, toilets, showers). All cabins and yurts are camper style cabins with bunkbeds, shared washrooms and showers are just a little walk away. We will prioritize the comfort of our elder guests who choose to stay on-site, assigning these guests to the lodge accommodations. We will also prioritize keeping friend groups together in the cabin/yurt accommodations. Cabins and Yurts are a rustic overnight accommodation and sleep 8-12 guests. All with single/single bunk beds, electricity and heat. Cabins have front and back doors with a deck, a picnic table and vinyl covered mattresses, 2 change rooms, fire extinguishers and smoke detectors. Guests staying in cabins/yurts use the shared washrooms facilities at the cabin hill washrooms, Macdonald Lodge, The Nest or Harmony House. Cabins have communal fire pits, where you may keep the party going after it's "lights out" at the reception. Check out the Staying At Camp page for a visual of each accommodation.
There are motels and hotels in Goderich and Kincardine if you REALLY wish to make alternative accommodations offsite but we hope you stay at camp and soak up the whole weekend with us. Guests who decide to stay offsite will be invited to attend the celebrations on Saturday only (ceremony and reception) and please RSVP accordingly.
We will be providing alcohol with most meals for the weekend. Friday night we will be serving beer and wine (and maybe a specialty drink). The karaoke party on Friday night will be BYOB. Saturday we don't want you toooo tipsy before the ceremony but we may have a mimosa or caesar bar with brunch. For any drinks you may want the rest of the day Saturday before the ceremony, the day will be BYOB. We'll be back to quenching your thirst at the reception and dinner on Saturday night, don't fret.
Please check your invite package for a suggested pack list but keep in mind we are up by the lake peak summer. It could be hot and humid or rainy and windy. Keep your eye on the weather forecast leading up and pack clothes for camp activities as well as cozy flannels in case of a chilly night. Remember to pack bedsheets, blanket, and a pillow! Friday night we're planning a karaoke party so bring a fun outfit if you plan to join. Saturday - we'd love to see you looking dapper for our big day! That said, there will be grass so maybe re-think those stilettos for the ceremony. The theme is Colourful Classy.
While we love your little ones, this is sadly an adults only celebration.

Yes! If you are a seasoned camper and want to bring your own camper van, tent trailer, or tent you are welcome to do so. There are electrical hookups for trailers but no waste water hookups. You're welcome to use any of the shared washrooms and showers throughout the camp. Please RSVP appropriately as to whether you are staying 1 or 2 nights and let us know in advance about your plan to camp on-site.
