Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Erica Goble and Mackintosh Wegener
Below is a list of our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us.

Erica Joy

Bride

Hi, I'm Erica! I use she/her pronouns. I'm a social worker and a lover of plants, camping, and gardening. I am so excited to spend the weekend celebrating our love with all of our favorite humans!

Mackintosh Joy

Nearlywed

Hey, I am Mackintosh and I use they/them pronouns! I am a social worker who loves plants and being in nature. I am blessed to have the BEST friends, and they will be standing next to me on our wedding day. I am goofy, caring, and creative. I am lucky to have such supportive people in my life, and ones that are going to celebrate Erica and I on October 7th!

Shelbey

Maid of Honor

Erica and Shelbey have been friends since grad school at the University of Michigan! Even through multiple out of state moves, our friendship has remained a guiding light. She was a no-brainer of a MOH!

Jess (she/her)

Person of Honor

Jess and I have been best friends since 2017 when we met on tinder (both looking for friends only). Our first time hanging out was in Brighton and I drove 28 miles in a snow storm- which took 1.5 hours. Jess is the first true healthy friend I made as a young adult, and she always has my back no matter what. When we both lived close to each other we hung out at least 4 days a week and that consisted of taking hikes, late night drives, listening to music, and stopping at speedway gas stations to get a giant fountain pop sprite. Because of our friendship, I put over 50,000 miles on my leased car with all of the late night driving we did and trips to visit her in northern Michigan when she moved to Sault St Marie for college. I don’t regret a single mile I put on that car.

Chandler

Officiant

Chandler is such an important part of our lives, we thought she'd be the BEST person to officially marry us! Erica and Chan have been friends since undergrad at Western Michigan University. She's our loudest friend :)

Jesse (he/him)

Person of Honor

Jesse and I have have been friends since early 2019, through an old friend of ours. Our first time hanging out, just the 2 of us was going to see a Detroit tigers game that summer. We used to take trips up north with Niecey to our friends cabin in Gaylord, where we would kick back and unplug for the weekend. In 2020 we both moved to South Lyon and lived less than a mile away from each other. We would often hang out with Amelia who moved into the same apartment complex as me. We spent many nights watching movies, listening to music, and doing anything plant related!

Erin

Bridesmaid

Erica and Erin have been friends since grad school at the University of Michigan. Erin and Erica started the Evergreen Experience together in 2017, Erin got Erica the job at PACE North in 2020, and then in 2021, Erin moved to Alaska! But we forgive her, and knew we wanted her by our side for our wedding day. Her son Levi will join us as our Ring Bearer!

Chaunice (she/they)

Person of Honor

Niecey And I became friends in 2019 when we first met through an old friend of ours. We used to go up north for cabin trips with Jesse, where we would unplug and truly relax for the weekend. Niecey is a great friend and always shows up for me.

Alexandria

Bridesmaid

Erica and Alexandria became fast friends about a year and a half ago, and we couldn't imagine our special day without her!

Amelia (she/her)

Person of Honor

Amelia and I met in 2019 through Jesse, and the 2 of them go way back. Amelia and I moved into the same apartment complex in 2020 in South Lyon. We spent soooo many nights watching movies, staying up late talking, and buying way too many plants. During the year we lived in the same place, we became such close friends.

Madelyn

Bridesmaid

Madelyn is Erica and Mack's neighbor, and a really important part of our queer family! She calls us her 'gay parents' and we couldn't love her more.

Maddison (she/her)

Person of Honor

Maddison is my younger sister who is 10 years younger than me. We met in 2004 when my mom gave birth to her. Maddison and I became super close in 2019, which was shortly after I moved out of the family house. I would pick her up from mom and dads house and we would drive around at night listening to music together. She means so much to me and I’m thankful to have a good relationship with her.
