Recommendations: rain jacket (just in case), hat, tennis shoes, sunglasses, swimsuit Toiletries Bring all the usuals Be sure to pack: sunscreen, bug spray with Deet (!!!) What to do in our downtime?

Answer

Join Nick by the fire he will most certainly be maintaining all weekend. Use the lodge's games, canoes, and kayaks. Play cornhole. Bring your fishing pole. Do a cold plunge. Nap. Read. Directions to get to the lodge?

We recommend downloading the lodge's address into your GPS Apps to be an "Offline Map". Service can be spotty/non-existent on the Gunflint Trail, so this will ensure you have the directions if you lose service. There are road signs every few miles on the road to direct you towards the lodge.

Question

Will there be cell service?

Answer

There is essentially no cell service once on the Gunflint Trail. However, the lodge and all the cabins are equipped with Wi-Fi.

Question

Can we bring our pets?

Answer

While the cabins are pet-friendly, we kindly ask that you leave them at home. Albert & Auggie will be around to soak up all the extra belly rubs.
