The idea of canceling our weekend adventure, full of fun, smore's and a whole lot of loved ones as we embark on married life has been challenging. Admittedly, we held out hope that a vaccine or good news would keep our dream a possible reality long enough that I'm sure some of you have wondered if we were aware that the world has gone to hell in a hand basket. As we realized our Schrodinger's wedding could not ensure our loved ones would be safely celebrating with us, we decided you mean so much more to us alive and well than drinking your way through a Russian roulette of who gets the Camp Chagnon plague. So unfortunately, our large wedding has been canceled. While we sit in the unknown of this challenging crisis, we are lucky to feel emboldened by our deep love and commitment to one another. Not too often does life present a pandemic in the midst of starting new jobs, planning a wedding, and having to move, and through all of this we have realized that no matter how stressful, unpredictable, and insane everything gets we can laugh with and love each other even when it feels like the world is ending. Postponing our vows indefinitely was something we couldn't allow COVID to take from us, so we are going to hold a very small ceremony on September 12th. It will not be the same without you all, so we hope you will join us in a live stream of our nuptials! Want an excuse to put on some fancy cloths (or a bathrobe, we don't judge) and drink champagne at home? We've got you! We hope to have a big party with everyone in the future where we can all safely hug, dance, and gorge on food...until then the link to virtually join our wedding will be posted on our live stream tab (top of the page) and will begin around 5:30 pm.
