Traveling to Bolton Landing, New York
We recommend flying into Albany Airport and renting a car to get to Lake George. Bolton Landing is about an hour drive from the airport, and there are NOT Ubers or taxis in Bolton Landing. If you are interested in carpooling or sharing a rental car with others, feel free to reach out to us and we can create a planning document to help you link up! (rates may apply) (just kidding)
BWM North Lodge
North Lodge is our first recommendation for a place to stay. It is walkable to Melody Manor venue (just across the street). North Lodge is owned by Blue Water Manor, but in a separate location.
Huddle Bay Motel & Cottages
This is also walkable to Melody Manor, and is right across the street from the North Lodge. Get cozy in a cabin on the lake with their own private beach!
Blue Water Manor
Blue Water Manor is a 2 minute drive from Melody Manor with recently renovated Adirondack style rooms. While it is very close to the venue, it would not be walkable as the main road along the lake is a state highway and would not be safe to walk along at night.
The Sagamore
This is a great option if you are looking for a more luxurious experience for the weekend. The Sagamore is a historic hotel on Lake George that has lots of different room options depending on what you are looking for...fun fact, we will see the Sagamore across the lake from the spot we get married!
Other places to stay
There are so many great places to stay in Bolton Landing! Feel free to check out homes on Air BnB or any of the lovely motels, cottages, and hotels in the area. Please consider transportation to and from the venue when you make your decision- Melody Manor is a 5 minute drive outside of the main town, and we want our guests to be as safe as possible. Once we know where the majority of guests will be staying, we will update this page with transportation options to and from the venue.
