Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please let us know your plans by July 1 through the RSVP link above. If you need additional time, please reach out and let us know.

Question

Are little ones allowed?

Answer

While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair on Saturday to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further. The Friday Welcome Party is kid friendly. We would love to see them all there! There will also be lawn games, a pool, and a beach with lake access at the venue during the day prior to the ceremony on Saturday that you are welcome to bring children to.

Question

What is the attire of the weekend events?

Answer

Friday Welcome Event - Mountain Chic Get ready to get down to some bluegrass music and celebrate a great weekend ahead on Lake George! If Meg were attending this event, she would wear a floral dress or skirt with a hat, boots, or funky jewelry. If Justin were attending this event, he would wear a button down flannel with boots, a bolo tie, or a fun hat. Think: Western wear, dressy but not formal...something you can dance in! Be creative with what you want to wear, this is not a strict dress code. This will be an outdoor event, so bring a light layer if it gets cold. We will have a campfire going. Wedding Day - Black Tie Optional Our wedding will have a formal dress code, but if you want to, you can dress for black tie. If Meg were attending this event, she would wear a full length dress. If Justin were attending this event, he would wear a suit with a tie. The ceremony and cocktail hour on Saturday are outdoors, so please bring a light layer if it gets chilly. We will be walking on the grass, so wedge/block heels or flats are encouraged. Farewell Brunch - Come as you are!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside with open skies. The reception will be outside but under a tent. Given that September is fall in the Adirondacks, we suggest bringing a layer in case it gets chilly, and wearing shoes that are comfortable to wear when walking in the grass.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30pm so we ask that all guests have found a seat prior to the start. There will be a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres immediately following the ceremony.
