5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
Following the wedding ceremony in the courtyard, guests are invited to a cocktail hour in the courtyard's adjoining sundeck to meet each other, chat, and prepare for Courtney and Rob's Second Line (wedding parade) through the French Quarter.
6:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Courtney and Rob plan to kick off the festivities with a wedding parade known locally as a Second Line. The parade will take the bride and groom and all their guests through the French Quarter and then back to the Omni Royal's Grand Salon Ballroom to begin the reception. In true New Orleans fashion, the reception will be a bit more informal than the traditional wedding reception. Think of it as a three-hour long cocktail hour. (But don't worry, there will be plenty of food -- both hors d'oeuvres and a full dinner -- and tables and chairs to eat at and take a breather between your dance sessions).
10:30 pm
Casual
After the reception comes to a close, Courtney and Rob would be thrilled to continue the fun with their friends and family, so guests are invited to the French Quarter to have a few more drinks with the bride and groom. Feel free to change beforehand if you've had enough of heels and jackets.
