The owner of Dawn McKee Cakes and the third pea in the Kotes and Kels pod, Marissa (better known as Sis or Sissa) is the sister Kelsey never had. Marissa showed up with ice cream in the summer of 2011 after Kelsey experienced her first heartbreak, and now she'll be standing next to Kelsey as she says "I do" to the man of her dreams! If you ever need someone to tell you to "pull yourself together" Edna Mode style (or if you just want some really good cake), Marissa is your girl.

Jackie is Mason's Godmother and they have been inseparable since he was born. Jackie has been the most constant friend in Mason's life and he wouldn't be where he is today without her wisdom and friendship.

Carly and Kelsey have been attached at the hip since their study abroad trip to Taiwan in 2018. They even followed each other to PT school at Mercer! Carly is the other half of Kelsey's brain - if it weren't for Carl, Kels would leave her head sitting on a table somewhere. Carly has been supportive, constant, and so thoughtful in the 4 years of friendship these two have shared. If you need a dance or song to remember something, or if you need a spreadsheet for, well, anything, Carly is your girl!

Tyler and Mason met each other in a 300 person lecture hall at UNC- Chapel Hill. Tyler sat right behind Mason and they also happened to be in the same recitation. The two hit it off immediately based on their love for good conversation over chicken wings and sports. Tyler and Mason were also housemates when Tyler first moved to Georgia.
Bethany Navarro

Beth and Kelsey's story is a bit of a long, sappy one, but I'll spare you the details. Random college roommates turned best friends who are each other's bridesmaids just about sums it up. Beth has been a constant encourager, travel buddy, prayer warrior, and advocate for Kelsey and Mason since the beginning. If you need someone to laugh at your (not very funny) jokes or a workout to define your quads...let me tell you about Bfit!

Mason and Rob met in high school and did not immediately hit it off. However, Mason was persistent and eventually Rob and Mason became inseparable for the entirety of high school. In fact, Mason had his own room in Rob's house because he spent so much time there.

Gabi and Kelsey used to have nothing in common except a dear friend, Bethany. Slowly but surely, the skepticism of the other wore off, and they realized they were a friendship match made in heaven. Kindred spirits, hearts, and souls, Kels and Gab giggle, dream, and make fun of one another at all times. Gabi is an old soul trapped in a 20-something's body who pulls out the old lady in Kelsey...which is why our wedding is ending at 9:00!

Dylan and Mason went to Physical Therapy school together but began their friendship before school even started due to their shared love of lifting and sports. Mason and Dylan were partners throughout PT school and became more like brothers than friends. Dylan is one of the best all around guys Mason has ever met.
Lane Creech

Chicago, Maine, you name it, Lane and Kelsey have thought about going together! These two became friends in college and bonded over their mutual stress in the Exercise and Sport Science major at UGA. Lane is the kindest, sincerest, most grounded person in Kelsey's life, and is such a light to those around her.
Tyler Murray

Mason and Tyler were teammates on Shenandoah University's baseball team. They were bullpen catchers during their freshman year and spent thousands of hours suffering through road trips and 100 degree bull pens. Tyler is much more than a teammate to Mason and has always supported him unconditionally, even when it meant he was going to transfer from Shenandoah.
Abigail Laughman

Abigail started as a "friend of a friend" as she was one of Bethany's best friends from Thomaston. If you know Abigail, you know she's very protective of her people, and as someone new in Bethany's life, Abigail was very wary of Kelsey. Abigail eventually told Kelsey, "I actually hated you!" And here she is, standing as Kelsey's bridesmaid and one of her most treasured friends. The bride is forever thankful she and Abigail warmed up to each other.
Joshua Horton

Josh and Mason became close when Kelsey and his girlfriend Abigail were in two weddings together. Our friendship quickly blossomed into a great source of advice and quality conversation. Mason and Josh also share a love for baseball and golf, and on any given Saturday can be found on a course anywhere close to the greater Atlanta area, it just depends on where the Hot Deal on Golf Now is.

Payton Pulver, better known as Peeton Pullover, has been friends with Kelsey since college. They got close through a mutual friend and fellow bridesmaid, Carly, and formed a sort of sister-ship on their own. In Kelsey's words, Payton is like the annoying little sister she never had. Payton is always a constant go-to for some comic relief or finding a silver lining.

Tucker and Mason met in physical therapy school and are continuing their education with Mercer's Orthopaedic Residency together. Tucker and Mason share many similarities in their goals and interests. Whether it's in our careers, on the golf course, or as men, Mason and Tucker constantly push each other to be better.

Kelsey's chaotic counterpart, Caroline is Kelsey's go-to for both giggles and crying about random things. Caroline and Kelsey met in PT school and bonded over their love of tequila and having anxiety about well, everything. Need someone to talk you into a spontaneous, irresponsible decision??? Call Caroline. She'll pierce your ear with a surgical needle before you can say "get the tequila!"
Christopher Campbell

Chris is Kelsey's older brother but has also become a friend of Mason's throughout Kelsey and Mason's relationship. Chris and Mason love to sit down together and have quality conversations about anything from politics to random trivia. They also love competing against each other during family game nights.

Jordan - our Jordy/Yordy/Peduncle girl. Jordan is such a constant, unwavering friend. Her presence in any situation provides so much peace and calmness, which is more often than not exactly what Kelsey needs. Kelsey and Jordan started out as acquaintances in college in a class about mitochondria (nerds), then became much closer in PT school through sleepless, study-filled nights. Jordan has been by Kelsey's side as a support for the last few years of PT school breakdowns, freak outs, and happy moments, too!

Corey is Kelsey's younger brother and they also became friends throughout the course of Kelsey and Mason's relationship. Mason loves having heartfelt conversations with Corey. He also loves that he can always count on Corey's well timed one-liners.
