FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

June 1st, 2025! Please also send any dietary preferences/allergies by then too. Guests who do not RSVP by June 1st will automatically be considered unable to attend.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Plus ones are by invitation only. Unless your invitation stated so, we will not be able to accommodate additional guests.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome if they were included in the wedding invitation. There will be crafts and activity sheets!

Question

Are pets welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your furry friends, please leave pets at home!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden Attire recommended for Ceremony: Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats as desired! The grass may be soft and uneven so rethink the stilettos. Camp Attire for evening activities: Anything goes! Tennis shoes or crocs in sports mode match well with a competitive edge.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Camp Barclay is an outdoor daytime event, the ceremony will be heavily shaded and the following reception will be under an open tent.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony will start promptly at 10:00 am. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to find your seat - the last shuttle from the nearby parking lot to the venue leaves at 9:45 am.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Due to our venue being on private property, all wedding guests will be parking at the nearby Hockinson Heights Elementary School parking lot (0.7 miles away). There will be no parking available at the venue site itself. Those carpooling are welcome to drop guests off at the venue cul-de-sac before parking in the elementary lot. All cars must be out of the elementary school lot by 9 pm.

Question

Do I have to stay for the evening activities?

Answer

All evening activities are entirely optional, it's okay to hang out and chill or take this time to explore the beautiful PNW! Check out our "Things To Do" page for inspiration. Please keep in mind the last scheduled shuttle after the reception runs at 3pm and all cars must be out of the parking lot by 9pm.

Question

Where am I sleeping?

Answer

After the evening activities conclude, the wedding party and immediate family members will be sleeping under the stars in tents at Camp Barclay. All other wedding guests will need to find their own accommodations.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The Hood to Coast route goes through Portland and is happening the same weekend. Please plan lodging and travel in advance!
