Pharaoh Mountain
Check out the views from the proposal if you're looking to squeeze in a good hike before the ceremony! The All Trails link states 11 miles, but half of this can be driven in a 4-wheel vehicle. Driving road actually ends at Crane Pond. If you do plan to do this on Saturday, we recommend having a fast breakfast at 8am and on the road by 8:30am. You would make it back to by 1:30pm giving you enough time for lunch & getting ready.

Goose Pond Day Hike
Another favorite spot of ours we have camped at many years. But also a great day hike with waterfront views of Pharoah Mountain proposal location! The AllTrails link reflects the parking spot where any vehicle can park. Four wheel vehicles are able to drive another 1-2 miles in making it only a 1 mile hike in, or 30 minutes. One hour round trip but give yourself at least two to give you time to relax at the pond.
50th Annual Adirondack Balloon Festival
How lucky are we that the 50th anniversary of the Adirondack Balloon Festival happens to fall on our wedding weekend! It is one of the highlights of fall in the Lake George area and this year it is scheduled for September 21 - 24, 2023. This event is held about 40 minutes south of our wedding venue in Queensbury, NY and is free to the public. Please refer to the website provided for event schedule and details.
Saratoga Springs, NY
We highly recommend you make a stop at Saratoga Springs, NY as a pit stop either on the way up or way back. Good spots to hit in town are: - Druthers, great brewery and restaurant - Uncommon Grounds, great coffee shop - A walk through Congress Park (and/or down Broadway) Feel free to text us if you're looking for more great sit downs for Friday dinner on your drive up.

Lake George is a top destination for those vacationing in the Adirondacks. It is 30 minutes south of Jimbo's and a great town to walk around. Great day trip on Saturday for lunch before the wedding, or pit stop on your drive up Friday.
