WHAT'S INCLUDED Rooms will include bedding, pillows, and bath towels. Breakfast will be included on-site both Saturday and Sunday mornings; please come to the Library between 8-10am on Saturday and 9-11am on Sunday for breakfast. WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT? - You may check-in any time after 3pm on Friday in the Library. - Check-out for all onsite guests is Sunday at 11am. WHICH CABIN / ROOM AM I IN - AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? We (bride & groom) will be making rooming assignments, similar to how we make table arrangements. Your room will be provided at check-in, and the venue will accept payment in cash or credit card, no checks. If you have questions on rooming / costs, please reach out to the bride & groom. THINGS TO CONSIDER BRINGING TO CAMP: - Folding Chairs (there are beds in the cabins, but no chairs) - Umbrella and/or Raingear (hopefully you won't need it, but better safe than sorry!) - Blanket or warm fleece/sweatshirt for the campfire (the Adirondacks can definitely get chilly) - Cooler. Jimbo's is a camp and not a traditional hotel so it does not have many of the amenities one might be accustomed to, such as ice machines. There is a Stewart's right off of exit 25. - Hair dryer if you need one. - Portable speaker for getting ready at your rooms - Lawn games will be provided, but feel free to bring one of your favorites!
We ask that for our ceremony and reception all guests come dressed in semi-formal attire. We want you to feel and look your best for our big day! Friday night's welcome bonfire is casual
Given the capacity of our venue, we kindly ask that only guests denoted and addressed on your invitation are invited to our celebration.
Please see the "Travel" page on our website for our list of preferred options in the area.
Yes! There is plenty of parking available onsite for the duration of the weekend!
We have ensured that there will be both glueten-free and vegetarian options. For all other food accommodations please denote any allergies in your RSVP. You will find we've selected a menu with all dietary needs in mind.
If you choose to stay offsite, we will not be providing transportation, and Uber is scarcely available in the area. The number for the local taxi, Brant Lake Taxi, is as follows: 518-494-2507 Please plan accordingly and responsibly.
We'll have various lawn games throughout the campground but encourage folks to bring your own if you have a favorite! There is a basketball court on site, and we will also have boats and kayaks available for use Saturday 11am - 1pm! First come first serve
Yes, you are more than welcome to BYOB! (Bring Your Own Boat) You may bring your own canoe, kayak, row boat, sailboat (dinghys only) or motorized boat for use so long as the person who owns the craft signs a waiver of liability with the camp. There is a public boat launch about 2 miles down Route 8 where you can put in or take out a boat. There would be no docks available on the property, but a boat could be anchored to the beach.
