Here's to Forever

It was the school bus, 2014(?). I (Mackenzie) had never ridden the bus before, and was terrified (what's new?), but Cameron, smooth as butter, slid over and let me sit with him, and that's where it all began.... kind of. We dated when we were 15. Cameron was the "bad boy;" I was the goody two shoes. And let's just say Mom was... hesitant (and rightfully so?). It was like any high school romance - messy and chaotic. And so, it ended. But wait... flash forward to 2022 - 8 years later. I kept thinking, "I should message Cameron and just see how he's doing," and of course, all of my friends kept telling me, "No." But one friend said, "Do it. What's the worst that could happen? It's not like he's going to move to Utah, I mean he lives in Alabama." And well... I think you can guess how the rest of this story goes.
