If you’re planning to book an Airbnb or hotel, we generally recommend choosing a place within the green zone highlighted above. It's less touristy and more residential, making it a great option if you’re looking for a more local feel while still being conveniently located. The red zone, on the other hand, is much more touristy and tends to be very crowded year-round. If you prefer to avoid heavily trafficked areas and large crowds, we suggest staying outside of the red zone. (IMPORTANT: if booking an Airbnb, make sure it has A/C.)
