The Wedding Website of Camille Steyaert and Danny De Quesada

Arrival by Air

Flights & Airports

You have three good airport options if you're flying from the US: Brussels (BRU) - the closest and easiest Amsterdam (AMS) - usually great for flight options Paris (CDG) - works well if you want to visit Paris first

Airport Transportation (Car)

Transfers to and from the Airport

If you prefer, you’re welcome to take an Uber or taxi from the airport. For a more comfortable and personalized experience, we recommend booking with PDR Driver Services at info@pdrdriverservices.be and mentioning “Wedding Camille & Danny.” A driver will meet you inside the airport with a sign displaying your name. You can choose from: Private car with driver (up to 3 passengers + luggage) Minibus with driver (up to 8 passengers + luggage) Don’t worry—if your group doesn’t fill the minibus, it will not be shared with other passengers. The vehicle is exclusively yours. One-way airport transfer pricing: Brussels Airport ↔ Gent: €140 Schiphol Airport ↔ Gent: €370 Paris Charles de Gaulle ↔ Gent: €480 Pricing is the same for both the private car and minibus. All rates are per vehicle and inclusive of VAT.

Airport Transportation (Train)

Visit www.belgiantrain.be to book tickets in advance

Brussels: after landing, go through customs and collect luggage. Follow the signs that say Train/Station/SNCB. Take the escalator/elevator down to Level -1 (this train station is inside the airport). Buy a ticket to Gent-Sint-Pieters. You can buy it from the ticket machines or from the ticket counter. Tickets are approximately €17 per person. Look for a train that says "IC - Gent-Sint-Pieters." Ride time is about 55 minutes and no transfers needed. When you arrive at Gent-Sint-Pieters station, you can take a taxi or Uber to your hotel (5–10-minute ride). There are taxis outside the station and cost €10–15. There is also an option to take Tram 1 toward "Korenmarket". Amsterdam: after you get your luggage, follow the yellow Train/NS signs. You'll arrive in Schiphol Plaza, where the train station is (under the main terminal). Buy a ticket to Gent-Sint-Pieters at the ticket counter (around €33). You can also book in advance on nsinternational.com. Take train 1: Schiphol --> Anterwerpen-Centraal (1h 15 min) and then transfer to train 2: Anterwerpen-Centraal --> Gent-Sint-Pieters (1h). Once you arrive, take a short taxi/Uber, or tram to the hotel. Paris: follow signs for TGV/Trains in Terminal 2. Buy a ticket to Gent-Sint-Pieters (€50–€70 per person). The high-speed TGV or Eurostar from CDG to Brussels takes about 1h 30 min. Then take a Belgian train (IC) from Brussels to Ghent (30 min).

Event Day Transfers

Ceremony & Reception Shuttles

We have arranged shuttles for international guests so everyone can relax and enjoy the day without worrying about directions or parking. Shuttles will depart from each of the three wedding hotels — Hotel Yalo, Ghent Marriot, and 1898 The Post — at 3:00 pm sharp to take guests to the ceremony at Kasteel van Laarne. Please plan to be in the hotel lobby by this time so that shuttles can leave on time. Following the ceremony, shuttles will bring guests from Kasteel van Laarne to Kasteel Rozelaar for the dinner and after-party. At the end of the celebration, shuttles will run between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. to return guests to their hotels.
