If it wasn’t for those two words, none of you would probably be on this website right now, reading this truly 21st century love story. This is Sam writing this, by the way. Camille is a Pueblo native and I went to school there from 2011-2016 and played soccer. In December of 2014, I was on the popular dating app Tinder. I remember coming across Camille’s profile and being like, daaang, this girl is cute. So naturally I swiped right and was grateful that she did as well. We messaged a little bit through the app and talked about meeting up but nothing came to because I was getting ready to head back to St. Louis for Christmas break. Fast forward a couple months and we saw each other out at the popular bar in Pueblo and to put it bluntly, I did not make the greatest first impression. I had enjoyed a couple too many cocktails that evening and don’t really remember what I said but apparently Camille wasn’t a huge fan of me. Fast forward another few months to September of 2015 when I decided to randomly text Camille asking her if she finally wanted to go on that coffee date that we had initially talked about when we first matched on Tinder. She begrudgingly agreed and we ended up getting dinner in Pueblo. That date went okay, but Camille still wasn’t the biggest fan of me. I texted her on and off for a couple weeks following that but wasn’t getting the greatest vibes from her so I decided I was going to give up chasing her. As fate would have it, she ended up texting me a couple days after I decided that. We went out a couple more times and I finally got her to start liking me. Fast forward 4 years, and we are getting hitched! So basically, we met on Tinder. Never hung-out. Met each other at a bar one night and I made a drunken fool of myself. Camille hated me. I convinced her to go out to dinner with me. She still didn’t like me. I had given up on her. She texted me out of the blue. We fell in love and now we are getting married. Just how the coach drew it up
