Can we bring kids to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! The wedding and reception will be kid-friendly- just make sure to add them to your RSVP.

What is a cake and punch reception?

Answer

A cake and punch reception means we won’t be having a formal sit down dinner or a traditional run-of-show for the reception. We will be serving light food, desserts, and have games and activities to celebrate our special day.

What should I bring?

Answer

We highly recommend putting on sunscreen before you come. Other than that, bring yourself! If you have any outdoor games you’d be comfortable bringing, let us know in the RSVP section.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to wear something you feel comfortable in and works for the weather, while still being a bit fancier than an everyday walk in the park.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Zola, Bed, Bath Beyond, and Target. You can find our registries on the Registry page of this website-- to see the Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond registries, click "other registries" toward the top of the page for links. Or, you can look up our names at either store.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place in the same place. Parking is available at Phalen Regional Park in public parking lots. If those are full, nearby residential street parking is available. Be sure to follow posted parking rules.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block at the Hampton Inn- University Area in Minneapolis. Ask for the Tinnin-Holmes wedding block. The hotel has free parking and is located right by the light rail station. It is about 20 minutes via car to the wedding venue.
