FAQs/Attire

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Children are invited to the welcome party and Sunday breakfast, but the wedding and reception will be adult-only.

Question

What is the attire for the welcome party?

Answer

Resort chic - and have fun with it! For women, blouses, dressy tops, vests, blazers, skirts, trousers and dresses. For men, pants, collared shirts, coats or sweaters. No denim or shorts.

Question

What is the attire for the Wedding Day?

Answer

Black tie optional. For ladies, midi or long dresses, and we recommend block heels or shoes suitable for grass. For men, tuxedos, suits and ties/bowties. Dress to impress!

Question

A note for the Sunday Breakfast.

Answer

If you are staying in Carmel, everything is generally walkable. There are some substantial hills so comfortable shoes are recommended. Fun fact: in Carmel, it is actually illegal to wear heels higher than two inches unless you have obtained a special permit (this is real, but never enforced). All this is to say, for those of you able to stop by on Sunday, we encourage you to walk to the Gearon home for breakfast if possible because parking is limited. Otherwise, please consider carpooling or an uber.
