GETTING THERE

The celebration will be held at Castel Bagnolo, Camilla's family villa near her hometown of Orte. It's located about 80 kilometers (50 miles) north of Rome - on Google Maps you can find it under "Societa Agricola Castel Bagnolo" or "Casa Castel Bagnolo". If you are driving, Google maps will take you around the bend. The quickest route to the venue is to search for Casa Castel Bagnolo and then add "Parco San Marco - The Mangrove Festival" as an intermediate stop. Allow us to emphasize that the wedding will not be held at The Mangrove Festival. Keep going. Castel Bagnolo is located in the countryside and getting there will take some planning! There is no public transportation to the venue, rideshares like Uber and Lyft do not operate locally, and taxis are extremely limited (we're talking maybe one guy in the entire province). That one guy's number: +39 337 764 081 We have also arranged a return shuttle service to a few areas with a high concertation of guests. The shuttle will run between 11:30pm - 3:30am.

Rome is the closest airport. It's about 2 hours by train from the airport to Orte train station.

The Orte train station is 6 kilometers (~4 miles) from the wedding venue by a country road (~15 minutes drive). For those staying in Rome, the train from Roma Termini to Orte will take between 40 minutes and 1.5 hours depending on whether you catch the express or regional train.

We understand that a lot of people are coming from far away and planning to experience a little more of the dolce vita during their trip to Italy. We recommend staying nearby at least for the night of the wedding. The first option we are providing for the free-of-spirit - there is plenty of space available to camp on the farm! Feel free to stake a tent in the nearby horse pasture. We can assure you that you won't be the only one. Keep in mind that it's in the middle of the countryside and about a 15-minute drive from town, so bring a car or bring some food! Cami and I have also reserved about 40 beds within 15 minutes of the venue. We're prioritizing this space for guests visiting from outside Italy. Please write us and if there's availability we will connect you with the hosts. Like the campground, these options are in the middle of the countryside (also a 15-minute drive from town), so bring a car or bring your own food! Looking beyond Castel Bagnolo and Orte, the countryside north of Rome is fit to burst with beautiful little towns. This year is the Jubilee - an important Catholic celebration held once every 25 years - and so Rome is likely to be busier than usual in June. Best to book ahead! This includes the hotel but also any major tourist attractions you would like to visit.
