Sam Beckas
Maid of Honor
Sam and Camilla met during Camilla's final year of graduate school. To say that Sam is a blessing is an understatement. Sam and Camilla goofed around Elon together for two years and spent most of their time together watching tv, sharing memes, eating take-out, bullet journaling, or running around Target. Sam and Camilla have helped one another through the toughest parts of student affairs and life, holding one another up and laughing through it all. Camilla is thrilled to have Sam as her Maid of Honor and create these memories with one another.
Ben Scougale
Bridal Party
Becca initially got to know Ben shortly after she moved to Seattle in 2009, as the owner of Blue Dog, a dog training and daycare business. Through obedience lessons with Avery to volunteering to help with doggie daycare every day, Ben and Becca became fast friends. Becca and Ben were roommates for a couple of years, during which time they bonded over camping trips, game nights, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly marathons, bonfires, and late-night chats. Becca officiated Ben and Jules' wedding, and she looks forward to having Ben stand alongside her and Camilla.
Sydney Borden

Sydney and Camilla became friends their first year of college in the Old North State. They truly SURVIVED and somehow made each other better people in those four years. While Camilla's father told her that she may have a friend and not a roommate (and a roommate and not a friend) when she went to college, Sydney defied that logic. Sydney and Camilla lived together for two glorious years of antics, road trips, and new food combinations. Sydney is a beam of light to all she meets, and is one of Camilla's best friends for life. Camilla is honered to have Sydney stand (at 6'1") with her on her wedding day.
EB Kuhn
Bridal Party
EB is Rebecca's sister, and someone Rebecca cherishes deeply. While they were not the best of friends growing up, adulthood has reinvigorated their sisterhood friendship. Since Rebecca moved to Atlanta, EB and Rebecca have been able to spend much more time visiting with one another. When they get together, you're likely to find them reading, napping, watching women's soccer, or puzzling. Rebecca is grateful for EB, not just as her sister but as an honest and safe sounding board for big decisions. Rebecca is honored to have EB by her side in this moment and all future moments.
Serena Brewer

Now, Camilla has known Serena since HER birth. Being made a big sister when Serena came along was probably one of the best gifts Camilla could have ever received. Serena has taught Camilla patience, forgiveness, and humility. While Camilla and Serena shared many childhood memories, the best are ahead of them. Camilla could not imagine a wedding without her sisters standing next to her. Elena and Serena have become two of Camilla's best friends and she is thankful for their constant love, support, guidance, memes, and the occasional "put me in my place" chats.
Adrianne Colton
Bridal Party
One of Rebecca's longest-lasting friendships, Adrianne and Rebecca got to know one another as freshmen in high school as they both played on the freshmen basketball team. It was through those nightly practices, wind sprints, sweat, and tears that their friendship was forged. Adrianne has always been one of those friends Rebecca can call at any time and it's as if they had talked the day before. Over the four years of high school growing up together changes a person, and Rebecca is deeply appreciative of Adrianne's steadfast friendship.
Elena Huddleston

Elena has known Camila since her literal birth. Being her older sister, Elena has taught Camilla how to be tough, smart, and savvy. Elena and Camilla were just far enough apart in age that they didn't have similar circles, but Camilla followed Elena around, emulating her older sister. Some of her best qualities come from what she learned from Elena. Camilla could not imagine a wedding without her sisters standing next to her. Elena and Serena have become two of Camilla's best friends and she is thankful for their constant love, support, guidance, memes, and the occasional "put me in my place" chats.
Angelique Simone

Angelique was the very first friend Rebecca made when she moved to Seattle, and their friendship is one Rebecca holds very dear. Their friendship blossomed over the years as they experienced the ups and downs of those unique challenges of adulthood and leaned on one another through some of those rough times. From cups of coffee to shared Indian dishes from their favorite restaurant, Angelique and Rebecca have enjoyed each other's friendship and Rebecca is thrilled to have Angelique serve as a member of her bridal party.
Charlotte Jeffries

Charlotte and Camilla have been rockin' with each other since '01/'02. Charlotte has always been the realistic, hilarious, encouraging, and humbling force in Camilla's life. Through most of middle school and all of high school, Charlotte and Camilla came as a pair. And Camilla cannot say how deeply important it was for her to have Charlotte as a friend growing up. She made Camilla a better person through her friendship and continues to inspire her. As children, Camilla and Charlotte used to joke about the number of weddings they'd have (times were bleak lol), but the constant was that they'd always be at each other's. And so of course Camilla chooses her best friend now to stand with her at her one wedding.
Karl Turnlund

Rebecca and Karl survived graduate school together, a bonding experience that will last a lifetime. They spent a couple of weeks bouncing around Europe together in 2014, and Rebecca has been able to visit Karl in Chicago over the years since graduate school. As they've leaned on each other for professional support, their friendship has grown deeper as well. Karl is one of the most genuine, caring, and honest people Rebecca cherishes as a friend, and she is thrilled to share this experience with him.
Blake Blankenbecler

A sister from another mister, Blake and Rebecca have known each other since they were babies. As Blake got to know Camilla, and see Rebecca and Camilla together, it became clear Rebecca and Camilla wanted Blake involved in their wedding. Blake is a tremendously special person, who centers love, understanding, and empowerment in all she does. Camilla and Rebecca are honored to have Blake witness their marriage commitment to one another.
