How to get to Upper Jay:
Upper Jay and Lake Placid are approximately a two-hour drive from the international airports in Albany, NY (ALB), Burlington, VT (BTV), and Montreal, QC (YUL). Car rental services are available at all three airports.
There is also non-stop service via Cape Air from Boston's Logan Airport (BOS) to Adirondack Regional Airport (SLK) located in neighboring Saranac Lake. There you can arrange for car service pick up, taxi, or car rental. The flight from Boston to Saranac Lake is approximately 90 minutes and is a 20-minute drive to Lake Placid.
Additionally, you can now fly United Airlines/Sky West direct from Washington-Dulles in Washington D.C. (IAD) to Plattsburgh, NY (PBG). From Plattsburgh, you can easily access Lake Placid by car, bus, or train.
