Where to stay?
Leiden is the ideal option, but it can also be easily reached by train from nearby cities like The Hague (10 minutes), Delft (20 minutes), and even Rotterdam (35 min).
Train

We recommend using Google Maps to find your way around the city. Additionally, we recommend downloading the app "NS" in advance to plan your journeys by train and buy train tickets.
Flight
Schiphol Aiport (Amsterdam)
Schiphol Airport is the international airport. This is in Amsterdam. The train station is right below the airport, and trains to Leiden and nearby cities leave every 15-20 minutes. The train ride is between 15-20 minutes. You can buy tickets at the train station or in the NS app and there is no need to reserve beforehand.
