Things To Do
Beaches
Chebeague Island has some lovely beaches, and the Inn will provide guests with beach chairs, towels, and snacks for an afternoon adventure (and a bike if you want to venture to the other side of the island). Highlights include Hamilton Beach (less than a 10 minute walk from the Inn), and a walkable sandbar to "Little Chebeague" island at the southern side of the island.
Lawn Games
Corn hole and bocce are available from the Inn staff on the front lawn overlooking the ocean
Bikes
Bikes are provided by the Inn for guests to explore the island - a great way to get around to some of the further areas
Trails
There are plenty of beautiful vistas on the island, with one of the most scenic being Rose's Point. The Inn staff can provide detailed directions and recommended walking trails as well.
Golf and Tennis
Chebeague Island has a 9 hole course next to the Inn! Tee times are not required and the Inn will provide vouchers for a reduced rate. Every hole has a panoramic view of Casco Bay. Next to the golf course are tennis courts - the Inn will also provide balls and rackets.
Island Farms
The Inn has a Chef's Garden which will let you pick fresh flowers, herbs, and vegetables. Vases and gardening tools are provided as well. There is also Second Wind Farm, which sells various produce. The Inn at Chebeague sources fresh produce from both of these locations!
Restaurants and Shopping
The Chebeague Island Inn restaurant will remain open for breakfast and lunch throughout your stay. Dinner will be served on Friday and Saturday nights as a part of the wedding. There is also the Niblic Cafe and Gift Shop, Two Birds Cafe, and Slow Bell Cafe are also open for snacks, breakfast, lunch, and coffee.
