We highly recommend that you spend some time walking around Duke's beautiful West Campus. Go check out our famed basketball stadium (Cameron Indoor), the stunning Duke Chapel, and the amazing bookstore! Bonus points if you make your way through the expansive Sarah P. Duke Gardens, walkable from West Campus. If you are parking on campus, plug "Bryan Center Parking Garage" into your GPS.
This is hands down our favorite sandwich spot in Durham. Don't sleep on the house-made mozzarella sticks and the curly fries!
This beautiful free trail loops around the Washington Duke Inn, one of Duke's hotels. It's well-maintained and a great running spot. (Be warned: It is a little hilly!)
Great coffee and tea, but don't leave without trying the churros.
Juju is an Asian tapas bar, and one of Durham's best restaurants!
Maple View is about 15 min by car from Durham, but worth the drive. Think: Fresh waffle cones and a beautiful farm view!
The Durham Bulls are a minor league baseball team, and it's SO fun to watch one of their games! Their 2026 schedule isn't out yet, but we'll keep an eye on it and update our website when we know whether they'll be planning over the weekend.
The WA Duke has a great golf course... if you aren't TOO hungover on Saturday morning :) don't skip the breakfast sandwiches at 19th Hole.
Cam's a vegetarian, but Will can vouch for these wings - Heav Buffs is a Durham staple and a classic late night snack.
