We're getting married!

It all started at James Madison University during Parents Weekend. While students and families mingled at a daytime gathering at Theo’s fraternity house, a chance conversation between Theo’s dad, Ted, and Cameron’s mom, Lori, sparked an unexpected connection. As they chatted, they realized Ted’s company had built Lori a patio years earlier. That small-world moment paved the way for something much bigger. Later that day, Theo and Cam found themselves talking at Finn’s, the local dive bar that quickly became their favorite spot. Conversation flowed easily, and though Theo took his time making anything official, the spark was undeniable. Before long, they were spending nearly every weekend together. Their very first date was at Billy Jack’s, sharing sticky nugs and drinks—a simple night that became the start of so much more. They went to several date functions as the semester went on, but it was during Theo’s fraternity Away Weekend in 2022 that they truly hit it off and began to fall for one another. By the time summer rolled around, it was clear to everyone that Theo and Cam had found something truly special. Shortly after graduation, on May 28th at Bear Chase Brewery, Theo asked Cam to officially be his girlfriend. From that moment on, they were inseparable. Life stayed busy, but they always made time for each other. During a stretch when they had to navigate long-distance dating, the miles between them only made it clearer how strong their bond truly was. That season of FaceTime calls, weekend visits, and missing each other reminded them both that what they had was rare—and absolutely worth holding onto. After two years of dating, they took the next step and moved in together. Though Cam had her hesitations (especially about closet space!), they quickly made their new place a home—one decorated with both of their personalities, thanks to a few of Theo’s concessions in the décor department. In November of 2024, Theo surprised Cam with what she thought was a weekend getaway. Instead, she was greeted by the most energetic addition to their little family: their puppy, Bo. From that day on, life became even more full of love (and a lot more chaos). Over the years, through big milestones and small everyday moments, Theo and Cam have built a life together filled with laughter, support, and joy. Now, they are overjoyed to be getting married—and even more excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by their closest family and friends.
