We have rented larger houses through Moving Mountains over the years and had a great experience. If you're looking for another option for large groups outside of Airbnb and VRBO, this is a great alternative.

Yampa Valley Airport

Fly directly to Yampa Valley Airport (~40 minutes from Steamboat). It’s a small airport—we encourage you to book a shuttle service or a rental car in advance.

Denver International Airport

Fly to Denver International Airport and enjoy the drive to Steamboat. We have spent many hours between Denver and our little mountain town both by choice and not so much by choice (cough, cough... traffic). So, if you need coffee stop recommendations, etc. shoot us a note. At this time of year, the drive will be beautiful but you're driving to the mountains so traffic could always be around the corner. Google maps is your friend.

Eagle Airport

Fly to Eagle Airport (~1 hour and 40 minutes from Steamboat). There are no public shuttle services that run from Eagle to Steamboat but there are rental cars available. Make sure you download directions once you arrive—it’s a rural drive without much cell reception!
