A few recommendations for those traveling from out of town. As a heads-up, this is a busy weekend with graduations at both nearby universities. We recommend booking accomodation sooner rather than later.
Flight
Raleigh Durham Internation Airport (RDU)
This is the easiest airport to fly into, 20-minutes to Durham, 25-minutes to Chapel Hill, 30-minutes to Hillsborough.
House Or Rental
Airbnb
We'd recommend first looking at rentals on Airbnb or Vrbo. Given the weekend, there are more options available (and new stays are likely to pop up). Suggested areas are Durham, as the welcome dinner will be close to downtown or Hillsborough, as it is close to the venue.

The Holiday Inn Express is a budget-friendly option in Hillsborough. Downtown Hillsborough is a cute town to explore and a little quieter than Durham. The Holiday Inn is an ~18 min drive to the venue and ~17 mins to downtown Durham.
