Flights to Temecula
Guests who are traveling from out of town can fly into multiple airports. The nearest airport to Temecula is Carlsbad (CLD) Airport which is 26.5 miles away. Other nearby airports include Santa Ana (SNA) (43.2 miles), Ontario/San Bernardino (ONT) (47.2 miles), San Diego (SAN) (53 miles) and Los Angeles (LAX) (79.3 miles).

Places to Stay
We encourage guests to book a place to stay as early as possible. Our wedding weekend is the same weekend as the “Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival”. While it’s further north in Winchester, there are still 38,000 in attendance for the 3-day festival (which ends Sunday morning). This will definitely affect traffic and availability of places to stay – which include the many Airbnb options in the wine valley, the casino properties and the downtown Temecula lodging. We are not doing a room block as Airbnb's tend to be more enjoyable and have more to offer for a guest experience. Nicole and Cameron and the wedding party are staying at the Wilson Creek Manor located across the street from Wilson Creek Winery from Friday May 18th-Monday May 20th. Whether you are coming in from out-of-town or from San Diego, we hope you will consider it a destination weekend and stay up here for minimum 2 nights (Sat. 5/18 – Mon. 5/20 checkout). You can experience the beautiful Temecula wine valley and have the flexibility of booking an Airbnb or VRBO, which is less expensive than a hotel per night. Plus you get to try out some of the wineries on Saturday, the day before the wedding…and there are 50 to choose from! I can recommend some wineries, entertainment and activities.

Getting around
There is so much to do in the San Diego area. We encourage if you want to explore what this city has to offer to rent a car. If you are happy to get around in an Uber/Lyft, Temecula is easy to explore without a rental car. Checkout our recommendations of activities under the "Things to Do" section.
