We're getting married!

It’s a long story but we love to tell it... Once upon a time, in the early days of our lives, destiny had a unique plan for us. At just 6 weeks old, Nicole and Cameron embarked on a journey of friendship that would last a lifetime. Their mothers, who were close friends themselves, made the introduction at a playgroup meeting for young mothers, setting the stage for a bond that would only grow stronger with time. Growing up, they navigated through different schools in San Diego, but distance could never keep them apart. Birthdays, holiday parties, and playgroup reunions became the occasions where their friendship would blossom. Cameron knew very early on that he liked Nicole and made several attempts to ask her out. She turned him down, fearful that it would ruin their friendship if things turned sour in the dating phase. In June of 2014, Cameron made another attempt and showed up at her door, surprising her with a night she will never forget. She remembers feeling surprised that this goofball best friend of hers could be so romantic and cordial. Nicole could have saved herself from kissing a lot of frogs if she had only realized the amazing man sitting right in front of her. The transition from being best friends to something more was exciting and at times awkward, but one that would become their biggest reward in life. They braved long distance dating through college and leaned into their relationship, deepening their bond that they had nurtured for so many years. When Cameron got accepted into the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Nicole knew they had to close the distance gap, so she followed him to SF getting a job at Paycom. Today Nicole and Cameron spend their days enjoying what the city has to offer- active lifestyles, great food, and great people. Their dog Logan loves his daily walks in Golden Gate Park. Now, as they stand together on the threshold of marriage, they can't help but be grateful for that journey – the challenges, the rewards, and the love that grew from their unshakable friendship. They are excited to continue this incredible adventure as partners for life, grateful for the love and patience that brought them to this day.
