Local beach on the Chesapeake Bay roughly 30 minutes from the Hampton Inn in Gloucester. To get here, drive to the end of State Route 645 until you reach the water. A little harder to find than some of the other beaches in the area but worth going off the beaten path.

One of the best parks in the area with trails, a woodland boardwalk, and a long stretch of beach for walking. This is a little further trip: roughly a 45-50 minute drive from downtown Gloucester.
