Charlottesville itself has a lovely outdoor "downtown mall" and the stunning campus of the University of Virginia, where Maia's parents attended college. The Blue Ridge mountains are just a quick drive away and feature great hikes and roads to explore such as Skyline Drive. This area is full of beautiful vineyards and breweries with delicious local drinks! Richmond is only an hour away, filled with history and entertainment as well as the University of Richmond, where Cameron's parents studied.
