Every child deserves to be seen, loved, and provided with equal opportunities to learn, grow, and flourish in the community. As a social worker, Cameron dedicated 5 years serving at-risk children and families with Communities in Schools (CIS). CIS's mission is to surround students with community support, empower them to stay in school, and succeed in life.

We care. We recognize the great need for caring adults in a child's life. We are honored to be involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program and be a "Big Couple" to an amazing 9 year old boy, Lee' Lee.

The power of healing is deeply rooted in speaking one's story and one's truth through creative expression. Having the opportunity to work in Kenya, Africa with the nonprofit Harambee Arts, Cameron got to learn and collaborate with Harambee staff and the Kenyan community to serve vulnerable populations including women, children, and differently-abled people.
