What do I wear?

Answer

We are asking our guests to follow a "Black Tie Optional" dress code. We invite guests to wear formal or semi-formal attire, including suits, tuxedos, gowns, or cocktail dresses. Earth-tone shades such as sage, rust, olive, brown and soft neutrals are encouraged.

We love your little ones, but we’re keeping the celebration adults‑only. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Where is the venue, and what’s parking like?

Answer

If you are staying at The General Lewis or anywhere in town you can walk to all the events if you choose, There is street parking at the ceremony site and additional parking available downtown. The General Lewis has some parking and there is a municipal lot one block away.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. Please keep an eye on the weather and dress comfortably for the elements.

Will there be transportation between venues?

Answer

There will not be transportation provided, but the ceremony location is only a short walk to the reception venue.

What should I expect between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a short 30–45 minute break between the ceremony and the reception. This gives everyone time to make the short walk to the reception venue and get settled. It also gives us a moment to sneak away for a few photos before joining you all for cocktail hour!
