I have spent over three decades working in the environmental profession. I like to talk to global strangers digitally. I like to do long distance bike riding, though these days the distances are not so long. I like to look up at the stars late at night, especially in sub-zero temperatures. I like spending time with friends and family and drinking my newfound love of thirty year old port (thanks Cath and Cameron for spoiling me).

I enjoy gardening, birdwatching, and walking amongst nature. I'm an animal lover, paper crafter, avid Steelers fan, and (as you can see) I never turn down a good margarita! Cheers to Cath and Cameron!
Gary Holmes

I'm Gary, father of the groom. I grew up on a 60 acre farm, and have lived in the Grand Blanc area since right after college. I don't drink it as much as I used to, but I do love Mt. Dew. I am an IT consultant who used to be on the road every week, but have been lucky enough to be working from home since March 2020. I enjoy traveling almost anywhere, but have always wanted to visit England. So excited that Catherine has joined our family!

Hi I am Deanna, married to Gary, and favorite mom to Cameron, Hannah and Clara. I enjoy my 4 cats, 6 grand cats and sipping a good red wine at a relaxing dinner out with family or friends. I work as a legal assistant, but look forward to having more time to travel and hang out with family and friends. I am very lucky to have had Chris, and now Catherine, join our crazy family!

I'm Cameron's sister, and I live in the beautiful North Carolina mountains with my husband Chris and three cats. I am very content at home with a glass of red wine, but I am easily convinced to go on any Holland America cruise where my sister is performing! One day I'd also love to take a long tour all around Europe.

Hey what’s up! I’m Clara, Cameron's sister and the self proclaimed bad ass of honor. I get to travel the world and do what I love so life is decent! I’m currently the only single sibling so catch me dodging all those “so you don’t have a bf yet” questions at the wedding. I love traveling and exploring new places, cheesy Gordita crunches, and my family!
Emily Sotzing

Emily is a fellow Midwesterner, born and raised in The great state of Ohio. She and Catherine became friends in grad school and bonded over a mutual love of Midwestern beer and Korean BBQ. Emily is an avid enjoyer of musical theatre, video games, cats, and anime. She also can't resist a good Moscow Mule or peach soju!
Paul Lyman
Best Man
I'm Paul, I grew up in the Flint area which is where I met Cameron and Catherine during middle school. I am a pipefitter by trade, but in my spare time you can can catch me regularly starting video games I'll never finish and working on those never ending projects that, "I'll finish someday!". It fills my heart with joy to see two of my favorite people choose to spend the rest of their life together.

Hi everyone. I’m John. (They all call me bud) I’m Catherine’s weird cousin from Pennsylvania who lives near Cleveland now. I work nightshift so my hobbies are Videogames, drinking beer, working, and occasionally being the life of the party with my friends. My favorite drink is PBR or bang energy drinks depending on the situation I am faced with.

Michael is 26 years young, from New Jersey, and went to grad school with Catherine. He enjoys long walks on the beach, Moscow Mules, and laughing. He aspires to one day to become a movie star after being discovered on the street for his rugged good looks.
Chris Holden

Chris is married to Hannah Holmes (Cameron's sister) and lives in the mountains of North Carolina. When he's not working as a professor, he's probably restoring vintage cast iron. His favorite beverage is CBS from Founders Brewing Co. and would enjoy drinking a CBS (or two) in Northern Michigan.
Christina Blomquist

Christina is originally from La Crosse, WI. After college at the University of Iowa, she moved to Maryland for graduate school. She's currently a doctoral student at UMD studying speech and hearing science. Her favorite beverage is red bull and her dream vacation is to go to the Galapagos Islands.
