Cameron and Alexis met in 2017 while both studying at Humboldt State University. It was Alexis' first year at HSU when she met Cameron and it was his fourth year when he met her. They both had a passion for music growing up and joined The World Famous Marching Lumberjacks; it was all thanks to this band that they met the love of their life. They first saw each other at a marching band practice and on that first encounter they spent all night talking and getting to know each other; before they knew it,it was way past four in the morning and they had to be up bright and early for Humboldt’s Pride Parade. As remembered by Cameron, he spent all morning skipping back home after an amazing night meeting Alexis. From that point on they had many awkward but wonderful dates around town and adventuring the beauty Humboldt had to offer. They remember all those beautiful memories each year on October 22nd where they celebrate their anniversary. Together they have been by each other's side through fun vacations with family, a large step moving out of a place they called home for many years, and welcoming many pets into their home. They could not be more excited for this special day to be wed and to spend it with the people they care about.
