Where is the venue, and where should I stay?

Answer

The venue is Hillbrook Estate located on the Coromandel Peninsula of the North Island, NZ. We recommend traveling guests stay in the town of Whangamatā, which is about a 15 minute drive to the venue. Sharing rental properties such as AirBNB, VRBO, Bachcare, etc. will likely be the provide the best deal. If you don't mind the drive, Pauanui is just over 30 minutes north of the venue and may have more rental options and things to do. We (Cameron & Maddi, along with some family) will be staying here in the week leading up to the wedding. Please reach out if you would like assistance finding a place to stay.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your envelope says "and Guest", then yes. If not, please just bring yourself. Please reach out to us if you think we missed anyone!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

All invitees will be addressed on the invitation. If you have questions about your little ones, please reach out to us and ask.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please do. Your RSVP should include an option to submit allergen and sensitivity information. We want to make sure everybody eats!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking area located on the estate for those driving.

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?

Answer

As guests will staying in varying locations, there is no single shuttle service to and from the venue. There is a cab company called Whangamata Taxis that services the town of Whangamata and provides a discount for rides to and from the venue. We will be providing more information closer to the date for those guests who do not want to drive to/from the venue.
