This is the estate of Frederic Edwin Church, a significant historic American painter and one of Christian and Camden's favorite artists. His 'Icebergs' painting at the Dallas Museum of Art was the feature of one of our first dates! This attraction is located about 25 minutes away from downtown Coxsackie.

Located about 2 hours away and best known as the setting of Washington Irving’s “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” is the sleepy little town itself tucked up next to the Hudson River. Irving is buried in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, and Kykuit, the Rockefeller family estate, overlooks the town from a nearby hilltop. If you're looking to enjoy the fall foliage, Rockefeller State Park Preserve includes beautiful carriage roads, woodlands, fields and streams.
