Christian and Camden met in Waco, Texas in 2018, when Camden, on a bold whim, asked for Christian's number. Their first date was intense - Christian had challenged Camden to Harry Potter and Game of Thrones trivia, and she took no prisoners. Undeterred by his scathing loss, Christian asked Camden out on a second date. And then another...and another. It became clear early on that Christian and Camden had chemistry, but they also shared a sense of humor and curiosity, goofiness, nerdiness, and a deep aversion to jorts. They bonded over their love for books and art. Christian got Camden into Japanese anime. Camden helped Christian through the difficult but necessary realization that he is, in fact, a Slytherin. A pill easier swallowed with a loaf of homemade banana bread and a Lord of the Rings marathon. Through challenges such as law school, career changes, the loss of family and cross-country moves, Camden and Christian's love and commitment to each other has only grown stronger. Their hugs tighter. The belly laughs deeper. Camden and Christian are thrilled to share their wedding day with family and friends celebrating who they are, their love story, and the many, many happy years to come!
