Wedding Party

Our wedding party is made up of the people who mean the most to us, our family and the friends that double as so. Their love, laughter, and support have shaped our journey and we’re beyond honored to celebrate this day with them.

Leah DeTolla

Maid of Honor

Leah is Alex’s sister (and now officially Allison’s, too) and Allison’s maid of honor. She’s the definition of a girls’ girl; she is loyal, kind, hilarious, and always the one making everyone feel at ease. Leah has a heart of gold and a personality that lights up every room she walks into. She’s the girl who will tell you the truth, fix your hair, and make you laugh in every moment. From the start, Leah has treated Allison like family, and now it’s finally official. Leah's favorite Allison memory: "I always love the memories we make singing together. Specifically, I remember going to the piano bar at Ogunquit and singing our hearts out. We sang Defying Gravity with SUCH passion that we got free tequila shots!"

Anna Swanson

Bridesmaid

Anna is Alex’s sister-in-law, married to his brother Evan (one of the best men), and mom to the most beautiful baby girl! She’s an art teacher, which basically makes her a saint, endlessly creative and kind. She’s the type of person who makes you feel instantly welcomed and loved and Allison couldn’t be luckier to have gained not just a sister-in-law, but a friend. Anna's favorite Allison memory: "My memory has to be our first Ogunquit trip, may you and Alex have a love/life that can span 10 THOUSAND lifetimes!!"

Gabrielle De Oliveira

Bridesmaid

Gabby is Allison’s soul sister, a friend who’s been by her side since kindergarten and still makes her laugh like they’re kids. The two have been inseparable for decades and fully plan to keep it that way forever. Gabby is an occupational therapist who works with children, which makes perfect sense because she’s endlessly patient, creative, and has the biggest heart. She’s also the life of every room she walks into and is always up for an adventure. Gabby has been there for every chapter of Allison’s life and it just wouldn’t be complete without her. Gabby's favorite Allison memory: "There are too many to pick... making YouTube videos, riding bikes to Tinkams pond, our first Saturday detention, pranking Jill with faking a pregnancy test with a pad and Gatorade, Stealing jay and Adam's shoes on the bus!"

Brianna Sutherland

Bridesmaid

Brianna is one of Allison’s PA school besties turned forever family. She’s now a PCP, which means she’s the most responsible of the group. Brianna has that rare mix of brains, heart, and adventure. She’s effortlessly amazing at everything she does all while keeping everyone around her sane. During PA school she was Allison’s lifeline; her notes, pep talks, and her unmatched Bud Light shotgun skills quite literally got Allison through it all. Brianna is loyal, grounded, and the kind of friend who makes every moment brighter just by being there. Brianna's favorite Allison memory: "My first memory of meeting Allison was in the library of Tufts. Nervous having to make friends even as a full grown adult, navigating a new education experience and searching for like minded people to trauma bond with. She was discussing something with someone else and briefly made a comment about the male species, and I was eavesdropping so of course had to chime in an remark on my hatred for men as well. From there on out we were inseparable. I don't think I have spent as much time with someone in a short period of time as we did in PA school. Late night study sessions together in the library sharing tears and study tips, taking midday naps in her apartment, and post-test beers at the Tam quickly turned into a forever friendship."

Piper Skinner

Bridesmaid

Piper is the other olive in Allison’s PA school dirty martini skewer (she even has a tattoo of three olives, Allison being one of those olives). During all of the PA school chaos, Piper was Allison’s partner in crime, voice of reason, and the only person who could make even an all-nighter in the library actually fun. She’s an emergency room PA so means she thrives in pure chaos and somehow still keeps calm, unless you’re actually dying in which case she’ll finally admit it’s serious. Piper is loyal, hilarious, and endlessly brave, the kind of friend who shows up for every moment, big or small, with a drink in hand and a shoulder to lean on. Piper's favorite Allison memory: “After the graduation ceremony for PA school, we all went to dinner with our families to celebrate separately, and at the end of the night Allison, Brianna and I all ended up back at our favorite Irish pub in Southie. With a pitcher of beer, we sat in the back corner of Shamrocks till closing time, reminiscing about times we had in school, and what was next for all of us. It was the best way to close a chapter in our lives, while we got to look forward to the next chapter together ”

Sarah Winterhalter

Bridesmaid

Sarah is one of those once-in-a-lifetime friends. The kind of person Allison always seems to find her way back to no matter where life takes them. Their story started in their local church choir, rekindled in high school, and followed them all the way through college and into PA school. Now, they’ve come full circle working together in the MGH Emergency Department (thanks to Sarah who got Allison the job). She’s brilliant, compassionate, and has a way of making even the craziest ER shifts fun. She also gave birth to Allison’s best friend, Reis, so technically Allison owes her everything. Sarah's favorite Allison memory:

Kaylee Cai

Bridesmaid

Kaylee is one of Allison’s closest friends from high school and proof that distance doesn’t stand a chance against real friendship. Ever since graduation she’s somehow managed to continue moving farther and farther away, but nothing has been able to stop them from finding their way back to each other. Kaylee has seen Allison through every stage of life including all of her questionable high school fashion choices (there were way to many tassels) into our adult milestones that don't include as many DIY shirts, and she’s been a constant source of laughter, love, and brutally honest advice along the way. She’s living her best life under the California sun, radiating confidence and kindness wherever she goes. Kaylee always knows when Allison needs a hype-up, a heart-to-heart, or a glass of wine. Kaylee's favorite Allison memory: "From getting to travel through Italy, Ireland, London, and France together, to stumbling into Hong Kong for karaoke every other weekend for an entire summer straight, to weekends fueled by the infamous Garden trash cans, some of my most unforgettable memories have been with Allison. But the memories I’ll hold the nearest and dearest to my heart are all the sleepovers we’ve had and getting to wake up, recap and laugh at the night before. Although the sleepovers are less frequent these days, they bring me back to simpler times and remind me how lucky I am to have a friend like Allison for 15 years who’s brought so much light and love into my life "

Madison Costa

Bridesmaid

Madison is one of Allison’s soulmates from high school. She is the kind of friend who’s had Allison’s heart and her back since sophomore year. We don’t talk about freshman Allison, but thankfully this friendship survived it. Madison is that rare kind of friend who feels like home; she’s steady, hilarious, and always knows exactly what to say whether it’s a reality check or a perfectly timed inside joke. She’s been there through every version of Allison, cheering her on through the best times and showing up without hesitation for the hard ones. She radiates loyalty, laughter, and love. Allison couldn’t imagine a world, or a wedding, without her. Madison's favorite Allison memory: "Also almost 20 years of friendship and it’s really hard to think of one memory. These are the words in my head : froyo, pufferbellies, New Hampshire, broken leg, College Cruise, camping, boats, OH and Disney."

Alexis Belanger

Bridesmaid

Alexis is one of Allison’s high school friends who quickly became family, the kind of friend who makes life bigger, louder, and infinitely more fun, yet somehow also feels like the safest place in the world. Alexis is one of those rare souls who can make you laugh until you cry and then be the first to hold you when you actually do. She’s got Allison’s initials tattooed on her (that’s two people here with an Allison tattoo, feel free to keep count), which pretty much says it all. Alexis is the ultimate badass, now a firefighter after years as a paramedic on one of the busiest ambulances in the country. She’s brave, hilarious, and fiercely loyal. Basically, if anything goes down on the wedding day, she’s the one you want nearby. She’ll probably offer to give everyone IVs “just in case". Alexis' favorite Allison memory: "I remember that time l signed Allison up for a month long karaoke contest and my entire extended family dedicated Thursday nights to hear her sing. If it weren't for the 92 year old taking the W with  Somewhere over the Rainbow, she might not have needed to become a doctor ❤️"

Jordan DeTolla

Best Man

The man, myth, and legend- Jordan Thomas DeTolla. Jordan is my oldest brother and has been by my side my entire life (literally). Jordan has been there for all my ups and downs - including being my first friend, always being there for guidance, and even saving my life (generally metaphorically but one time as a kid he did save me from a potential electrocution)! There is no one i’d rather have by my side as Allison and I get married - excited for the big day Jord! Jordan's favorite memory of Alex: "My favorite memory was the semester Alex and I were both at Umass Lowell together. Some of our classes overlapped, and we spent a lot of time together hanging at Alex's apartment or studying. It was great spending time independent of our childhood home together, which I think has made our bond that much tighter today"

Evan DeTolla

Best Man

Evan John DeTolla - my youngest brother. Ev and I shared many of the same interests growing up - a shared love of video games (shoutout Sylvos and dtrain), guitar, and our family. I was not always the kindest older brother growing up (sry ev) - but the Evan I know today is one of the kindest, sweetest and most genuine humans you’ll ever meet. I love him dearly and it’s been such a pleasure growing beside him. I can’t wait to stand next to you on my wedding day Ev! Evan's favorite memory of Alex: "My favorite memory with Alex was probably the year that we practice super smash brothers after school almost every day, and both got pretty darn good at it. To the point it was probably the most time we had spent together, and it was really nice. It was also probably the closest that either of us had gotten in our teen years training for a sport!"

Kevin Gilfeather

Groomsman

My unofficial brother from another mother. Fun fact - I’ve lived with Kevin longer than anyone outside of my immediate family, but I certainly aim to beat this record with Allison. We’ve had great times together in Lowell, Somerville, and of course Southie. Kev and I have been on more trips, mischief, and good times than can imagine - So excited to have you with me on my special day Kev! Kevin's favorite memory of Alex: "My favorite memories are around travel. Al and I have been on alot of trips together (All around New England, Miami, Dallas, Chicago, Montreal to name a few). Each trip is full of adventure and plenty of bud lights. Here's to many more Al!"

Devon McGarry

Groomsman

Devon - my brother from the great white north. An OG friend from WA, we bonded over love of guitar and misfortunes in gym class. Devon has been with me throughout many of life's milestones- moving in together in Vermont, providing a reason for Allison and my first weekend away (shout out On Tap in Essex VT!), and of course, providing cover with Shelby for the engagement. Thanks for everything Dev- can’t wait to see you on the big day! Devon's favorite memory with Alex: "Alex - or Zander as some may know him - is a superhuman with a penchant for doing superhuman things, with my favorite memory putting these skills on full display. The year was 2012. I lived in a dingy, dimly-lit apartment in Burlington, VT, riddled with mysterious creatures. Alex and our friend Kyle came up for a weekend of fun and adventure. After a late night, when all the kebab karts and food trucks had gone to bed, Al was still hungry. Awake and left to their own devices in my food desert kitchen, Alex and Kyle turned to the only available sustenance. I had walked out of the room to slip into something a little more comfortable. When I returned to the kitchen, I was stunned to find Kyle shaking off the catcher and performing a full Hideo Nomo wind-up. Then, he sent a full-sized moth flying across the kitchen landing a perfect strike in Alex’s open mouth. It was a feat of greatness and a wild ride for the moth. The 30-for-30 is in production. What an athlete and tremendous competitor!"

Chris Condike

Groomsman

Chris, a fellow Grey Ghost, has been a close friend throughout many of my life milestones. From helping to coordinate Prom, going on trips throughout college (Clemson, Vermont, and Rhode Island college trips to name a few), Chris and I have had a great time navigating life. Most recently - our shared commitment to Dana Farber via the Pan Mass Challenge has been a great bonding experience for us - a tradition I'm looking forward to continuing for many years to come. Chris's favorite memory of Alex: "My favorite memories surround our annual Vermont trips. Between college trips, skiing, breweries, or the dreadful parking in downtown Burlington - I've always looked forward to our time together up north!"

Paul Gwiazda

Groomsman

My brother in law Paul is one of the best people you’ll ever meet. He’s an amazing musician, earning the nickname Paul “The Ripper” at family jam sessions - and is always encouraging me to solo. Ever since that first fateful sake bomb at Karma, Paul has been a constant in our lives - always being there and supporting my sister Leah through life's ups and downs. Thank you Paul for everything -can't wait to see you on the big day! Paul's favorite memory of Alex: "A consistent favorite memory of Alex is that every family trip, we always end up going for a family run together. It's a great way to get some exercise, enjoy a little quiet time, and catch up before the day gets busy. I've always admired that Alex sticks with his fitness routine even on vacation."

Adam Cambra

Groomsman

I've gotten to know Adam over the past 3.5 years and can honestly say - he is one of the kindest, most authentic, and funniest people that I know. Adam can talk to anyone and is always an amazing time. Most of all - I appreciate how much Adam loves Allison, always looking out for her and consistently navigating life as Cambra siblings. I'm so happy that Adam has come into my life and look forward to him being my brother in law! Adam's favorite memory of Alex: "I have to say that I've really enjoyed all of our travel together. Either coming up to Boston to visit Alex and Allison, or hosting them down in Florida we always have an amazing time together."

Colin Gurry

Groomsman

Colin came into my life via the Tuft’s PA class of 2023 (thanks Piper!) and has been an amazing friend ever since. Colin and I have had many adventures across the world, including ski trips in Banff, a recent trip to London, and even discovering independence hall in Philly (or maybe that actually was a capital one…) Colin's favorite memory of Alex: "Last year, Al invited me and my wife to dinner in the North End on short notice. As soon as we got to the table, he said "There's a concert in Mansfield that starts in 45 minutes, you guys down?" After a speedy dinner, we drove to the venue, cracked some beers in the parking lot and attempted to converse only in Spanish until we entered the amphitheater (for the record - we all know 9th grade Spanish at best). Life with Alex is more spontaneous and filled with endless bits and hypotheticals. Looking forward to the same nonsense in the new chapter!"

John McSeveney

Groomsman

Rounding out bootie and the whole fish crew - I was also introduced to John via the tuft PA group (thanks Brianna!). John and I bonded over a shared love for golf, cigars, whiskey, and generally just good times and vibes. John is an amazing friend - always having my back, always open with an invite, and is overall one of the most delightful human beings you'll meet. John's favorite Alex memory: "I have so many great memories with Alex - from golfing in Ireland on a misty morning to hitting the slopes up north. Whether we were sharing a cigar and a glass of whiskey over chess in Naples or just catching up, I cherish those times and look forward to making many more memories with the DeTollas."
