If I can’t make the trip to Portland for the wedding, will you be celebrating in Des Moines, Iowa as well?

Answer

We’d love for you to join us for the wedding, however, we understand if travel is not possible. We plan to host a reception or open house in Des Moines, Iowa in Fall 2025 to celebrate with you! We will share more details later this year. Please ensure you RSVP no if you're unable to travel, and we will include you in the Des Moines celebration.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Answer

For those in Portland, you can drive and there will be plenty of free onsite parking. We recommend out-of-town guests book rental cars from the airport or look into shuttle options. Carpooling arrangements can be made with other guests arriving at the same time. Please reach out to us for assistance with coordinating.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place in an outdoor Amphitheater. The reception will take place in the Riverview Pavilion - a covered outdoor venue. In the unlikely event of rain, the ceremony will also occur under the Riverview Pavilion.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Summery, cocktail attire. Opt for muted pastels and light and airy fabrics such as chiffon, linen, or organza. A floral maxi dress, a pastel midi or knee-length dress, as well as a jumpsuit, are all great options. Please keep in mind pointed heels may easily sink into the grass. For men, a lightweight suit and tie is appropriate.

During the month of August, Stevenson, WA, has an average daytime high temperature of 83°F and an average overnight low temperature dropping to 58°F. Chances of rain are low.

To ensure we can accommodate all invited guests, the invitees in your party are noted on your invitation.

Answer

With a few exceptions, in order to allow all guests, including parents, to have a good time, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only event.
