Balboa Park

Balbao Park is where it all began for these two! Caly would spend every day here between classes, taking in the beauty and the free Wi-Fi. When we began spending time together, Caly would take Eric here for study and museum dates, picnics, or just walks around the park. Eric even asked Caly to be his girlfriend here in the rose garden! (Hot tip: California residents get free admittance into the museums on Tuesdays!)

Carlsbad State Beach

You can't visit beautiful San Diego without taking in the beach! When we were broke college kids, we spent every day at the beach because it gave us something to do that didn't cost a penny. Carlsbad Beach is one of our favorites, but you can't go wrong with any North County beach.
