Jen and James have selected a beautiful, all-inclusive, adults-only resort as their “wedding central” hotel in Mexico. Located on a charming island off the coast of Cancun, called Isla Mujeres, the Privilege Aluxes (pronounced “uh-LOO-shus”) will be a wonderful destination for their celebration! To reserve your room, go to www.privilegehotels.com and click on the “Book Now” box. On the very first box that pops up, you will enter the dates you wish to book, along with a promotional code. That promotional code is specific to Jen & James’ wedding group. Please copy+paste the code, as it is designed not to be forged. The rates you will see will include fees & taxes and will represent the room cost for the entire number of days you entered at the beginning of the booking process. SINGLE TRAVELERS: The rates are based initially on double occupancy. On the booking page, there is a small grey box to the right of the room descriptions that says, “Occupancy Selected” and you may click on the modify box and select “One Adult” and the all-inclusive rates will adjust downward by approximately $33 per day, including fees & taxes. If you would like to have 3 people in the room, you may add a third person at the all-inclusive rate of approximately $146 per person. Once again, click on the Occupancy Selected box and select “Three Adults.” A third person supplement is available only in the Deluxe or Premium Suite categories. If you wish to purchase other room types, or stay for fewer than the three-night minimum stay, the promotional code will not result in a discount from the hotel’s standard web rates.

Hotel Cancellation
Guests may cancel their booking before thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date with no penalty. If a guest cancels within 29 and 15 days prior to the arrival date, there is a one night penalty (including taxes and fees); if less than 15 days prior to arrival, two nights penalty, and less than 7 days prior to the arrival days, the total amount of the reservation is due.

As you look for booking your flights to Jen and James's wedding, there are several choices, depending on where you'll be coming from: For Kansas City guests, Southwest Airlines (southwest.com) is a low-fare airline that serves Cancun International Airport with multiple flights. For other airlines out of Kansas City, Dallas, Austin, and other locations, guests may wish to choose American (aa.com), Delta (delta.com) and United Airlines (united.com). Other low-fare airlines offering flights to and from Cancun, depending on originating city, include Frontier (flyfrontier.com), Jet Blue (jetblue.com), and Alaska Airlines (alaskaair.com). All passengers must hold a current passport with expiration date not earlier than six months from your return date (example: return date of 10/24/21, passport expiration date must be 4/24/22 or later).

Airport Transportation
https://www.cancunandrivieramaya.com/wedding/jennifer-james.asp You will need to reserve a private van to pick you up from the airport and deliver you to the ferry, and there you will take the ferry to Isla Mujeres (20 minute ride). Included in the price is a round trip transfer from the airport to the ferry and return trip from the ferry to the airport at the end of your trip. It also includes your round trip ferry tickets.

It is highly suggested that guests purchase travel insurance for this wedding event. The pandemic has altered so many travel plans & travelers need protection for unexpected events.
