COVID-19 put a pause on our wedding plans since the beginning of March, but luckily we were months ahead on planning. However, in early May we got a call from our venue that they were going out of business due to the pandemic. At six months until our planned wedding date, we are starting over. We have decided given the time frame and the uncertainty of when the pandemic will end that we are going to have a microwedding with our immediate families and our reduced wedding party. It was a difficult decision to tell people in our wedding party and our loved ones that we had to reduce our wedding to follow state guidelines for gatherings. We wish we could spend our big day with all of you, but we hope you will understand and support our decision.
Calvin and I knew we were going to marry each other very early into our relationship... We've waited 5 years for this! We simply just do not wait to put off our marriage.
We have to completely start over since our old venue was taking care of everything. Luckily, Madi was born to design and plan a party! We have complete confidence and trust in the Lord that this wedding is going to happen one way or another! We have plan B, C and D ready! We will update you all when those plans are concrete.
We plan to renew our vows with all our loved ones and friends as soon as its safe to be in large groups again! We can't wait to celebrate with you then!
PLEASE don't feel sad for us! Your love, support and prayers will mean the WORLD to us! We are still SO EXCITED to get married no matter what our big day looks like. The MOST important part of our wedding day is our marriage!
