Moon Palace Nizuc is an all-inclusive resort, so gratuities are already included in your stay—no tipping is required or expected. That said, we've found that a little extra cash goes a long way to show appreciation for exceptional service, and staff truly value it. We recommend bringing some small US dollar bills ($1s and $5s work best) since there are no ATMs on the property, and USD is happily accepted everywhere (no need to exchange for pesos at the airport). Here are our suggestions based on guest experiences and reviews: Pool/beach servers and bartenders: A generous tip (e.g., $5–10) on your first order or round often leads to more frequent and attentive service throughout your stay. After that, tipping per drink/order is optional but appreciated. Housekeeping: $5–10 per day (or a bit more on the last day) is a nice gesture. Bellhops, airport shuttle drivers, and room service: A small tip is common and appreciated. Restaurants (buffet or à la carte), in-resort shuttles, and regular bar service: Not necessary, though a small tip for outstanding service is always welcome. Tipping is completely at your discretion—do what feels right for you! We've found that a modest amount enhances the overall experience without breaking the bank.
