If you want to explore towns on the lake and mountains, we recommend renting a car. If not, there are trains from Lecco to the main beaches or you can use the ferry to visit the main towns. Not many taxis are available in the city (there are a few in Lecco station).

If you rent a car at the airport, the closest airport is Milano Bergamo. Otherwise Milano Linate or Milano Malpensa.
