This is one hour and a half hike, beginner/medium level. You can have lunch in a typical chalet when you arrive there (Rifugio Milani). If you still want to go but you don't want to walk, you can take the cable car (you can buy the ticket at the car park). Highly recommend arriving at the cross to enjoy the beautiful 360 view.
The Sentiero del Viandante is an ancient mule track that runs along the eastern branch of Lake Como. It starts from the town of Abbadia Lariana and reaches Colico (40km in total but it's totally up to you how long you want to walk). The itinerary is for everyone.
Expert level, 4 hours walk. Is the highest pick in Lecco (2410mt). The mountain is composed of three slopes. The panorama that can be enjoyed from the top is very famous, for its relative isolation and for the distance from other peaks of similar or greater height: it includes the entire north-western alpine arc, the Bernese Oberland, the Matterhorn, very well it is you can see the Monte Rosa as far as the inner Swiss peaks and the mountain ranges on the border with the Triveneto. In the event of a windy day, even the Duomo of Milan can be sighted.
Lovely beach, 10/12€ entrance which includes the sunbed (5€ extra for the umbrella). There is a bar, showers, changing rooms, a restaurant, wakeboard school if you want to book a lesson. You can walk here from Lecco enjoying an amazing walk path on the lake. Recommend to go in the morning on a weekday. Fun fact, it becomes a club at night!
One of my favorite towns on the lake. You can go by ferry from Lecco (tickets can be purchased at the ticket office near the dock of almost any town, they cost around 5€), by car or by train. Get lost in the characteristics roads and don't forget to walk on the red bridge over water. To complete a perfect day (if you have a car), go to visit Castello di Vezio.
Villa Monastero, a property of the Province of Lecco, is a very interesting attraction of our territory thanks to its strategic location, its history, its landscape, its environment, and for the different services which it can offer.
Villa Carlotta is a unique place of art and beauty with its magnificent botanical specimens and art masterpieces in over 70,000 square meters of gardens and museums. It is located on a very picturesque part of Lake Como and is renowned for its spectacular gardens.
Beginner level (you will fly together with an expert). The territory is characterized by optimal flight conditions, thanks to its position that sees the air coming from the Po valley channeling on the slopes of the Pedemontana. In the area of Mount Cornizzolo (Brianza), it is possible to try flying experiences with hang gliding and paragliding and during the year. I've done it, and I highly recommend it!
