Sylvan Lake Lodge is approximately 50 minutes from Rapid City Airport. We recommend coordinating flights with family or friends and renting a car together, as Ubers are hard to come by.

Sylvan Lake Lodge at Custer State Park Resorts
Custer State Park Resort's accommodations book very quickly. You can reserve a lodge room or cabin at Sylvan Lake Lodge. It is highly recommended that you call (888-875-0001) and make your reservations as soon as possible. When calling to make your reservations, reference the Poehler/Eichner Wedding at the Sylvan Lake Lodge on September 13th, 2025. Outside of Custer State Park, options are limited (Custer & Hill City are where to look for an AirBnb -- both are a 15 to 20-minute drive). State Game Lodge is also located within Custer State Park, but is roughly a 35-minute drive to Sylvan Lake.
