When should I arrive?

Answer

We are planning events from Wednesday, May 8 through to the big day on Sunday May 12, but you can show up any time before Sunday. We recommend arriving by at latest May 11 to prevent travel stress with unpredictable ferries.

Where should I reserve lodging?

Answer

The easiest place to stay is the Roche Harbor Resort, since you can walk to our events. There are rooms/houses/cottages of different sizes, so let us or Roche know if you'd like to be paired up to stay with other guests. There are also many other beautiful places on the island to stay if you prefer. Bear in mind it might be up to a 30 minute taxi ride to Roche (in addition to how long it takes the taxi to get to you, unless you're in Friday Harbor where the taxis live).

Ok, how soon should I reserve lodging?

Answer

The sooner the better, since Roche Harbor and other places on the island tend to fill up. You can book with Roche online, or call or email the Roche Harbor lodging office to be a part of our room block: (800) 451-8910 ext. 4 OR (360) 378-9820. Email groupsales@rocheharbor.com

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Sooner helps us plan, but we're not going to turn you away! Our menus and guest count is finalized 21 days before the wedding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! There are lawns to run around, a sculpture park nearby, and possible activities like sea kayaking and hiking.

Any group transport planned?

Answer

We know it's a long trip out to the islands. Let us know your arrival time, and if you'd like us to add you to a shuttle, we'll get you from the airport to Anacortes Ferry terminal!

What does semi-formal mean?

Answer

Garden formal? Summer cocktail? Do what you feel comfortable in, but we love dressing up!
