Check out the beautiful 167 foot water fall surounded by short trails, pavillions, and playgrounds. There is a vehicle entrance fee of $3 on weekdays and $5 on weekends and holidays. Walk-in visitors can enter for free. Leashed dogs are welcome in most day-use areas, though they are prohibited on the gorge trail.
Stone Quarry Art Park is a private, not-for-profit contemporary outdoor art space founded in 1991 that connects people with art and the outdoors. Grounds are open everyday from dawn until dusk. Check out the 2025 visiting artist program. There is a suggested contribution of $5.00.
Just a 30-minute drive from Cazenovia, Syracuse is filled with food, festivals, music, and history. Consider stopping for breakfast at Oh My Darling, grabbing a new read at Parthenon Books, or perusing CDs and records at The Sound Garden. More activities include getting fresh flowers at the Dowtown Farmers Market, visiting the Everson Museum of Art (designed by I.M. Pei), or checking out the architecture at Syracuse University.
