Question

What hotel should I book?

Answer

We've been telling our friends to book at Spray Beach Inn, and our friends know how to party. If you're not up for spontaneous communal beer shares and general after-party merriment, maybe it's best to stay somewhere else. Drifting Sands Inn and Surf City Inn are pretty decent, "middle of the road" spots, from what we hear. Daddy O's is the priciest option, but it's closest to the venue and it's where our Welcome Happy Hour will be.

Can I bring my kid(s)?

Answer

Due to our venue being on the small and cozy side, we are limiting children to those within the wedding party for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.

Question

What is the preferred attire for the weekend?

Answer

Welcome Happy Hour - Beachy casual. This will be outside at the Garden Rum Bar at Daddy O's, so it will be warm and sunny (we hope). Ceremony through Dinner & Reception - Cocktail attire. Our ceremony will be outside, cocktail hour will be on the covered deck and rooftop, and dinner and dancing will be inside the venue.

Are Lyfts and Ubers on the island?

Answer

Yes, there are both here! Though the supply of drivers is probably a bit more limited than what you're used to. We suggest checking both apps ahead of time, and ordering a car with more time than you might need to get to one or all of the weekend events.

Will there be transportation to/from Brandt Beach Yacht Club?

Answer

Yes! We have a baller shuttle service called Shooboo Shuttle. Shooboo will be picking guests up at the hotels most people are staying at. More details to come, but our shuttle will be making 2-3 stops to take everyone to the BBYC for our ceremony and reception. For those raging at the after-party, the Nardi bus will be taking us to Nardis around 10:45pm following the reception. Shooboo will be shuttling guests back to the main hotels for those that want to call it a night.
